Today is also the day we are closing on our house.  Coincidence?…I think not!  Only 5 more hours until Sarah and I are forever in debt.  We have been looking forward to this day all week (for the house not the pirate holiday that is). We are loading up some boxes this afternoon and trucking them up to Melrose.  Now we just have to paint, fix the plumbing, hang some drywall, install windows and rugs in the basement, remove a bit o’ asbestos, buy a washer/dryer, buy a lawnmower, basically spend a lot of money we do not have.

 Maybe pirates became pirates because they needed the money after buying a house?….
