Happy New Years!

As the New Year approaches I have a chance to reflect on all the great things that have transpired in 2006. I was able to travel out to Chicago to learn a new lighting technique and hang out with a bunch of incredibly talented wedding photographer who have become not only great resources, but friends as well. I got to travel to the south east and west for a few weddings. Sarah started a new career as a nurse at MGH. MGH stands for the Massachusetts General Hospital but many like to refer to it “Man’s Greatest Hospital” which I do not tihnk is far from the truth. My younger brother Scott got married and I was asked to photograph the wedding of my sister-in-law Carolyn and my longtime friend Marlon. Just awesome! 2006 also saw the arrival of two new members of our extended family: Ryan and Cali. To round out the year, Sarah and I bought our first house together in the fall and we now feel all grown up! That being said we will probably have boxes to unpack well into 2008!

Most importantly, I was able, once again, to pursue my love for photography and share in the lives of over 30 couples this year who put their faith in my craft to honestly record the emotion and beauty of the unfolding love story on their wedding day. Happy New Years to all the newly married couples who gave me the honor to shoot their weddings in 2006, the vendors who made my days easier, the planners who referred new clients to me, and past brides and grooms who encouraged others to choose me for their weddings. Without all of you, I could not do this; I could not follow my passion and truly do what I absolutely love for a living.

Cheers!

Craig
