Brian & Mikey

Last Saturday brought with it a break from the cloudy weather and chilly temps and treated us with a wonderfully sunny day. It also brought together two great guys to be married at the College Club of Boston, Brian and Mikey. It was a great, personalized service that was accented by a signed a scene from Avenue Q (no one does Tony award-winning plays at weddings anymore these days) :) by ASL Interpreters Jolanta Gillis and Linn Staton–Kelly Sicard later signed the song In My Life. Brian and Mikey wrote their own vows, vows that were both touching and very funny at times. The service was presided over by Anna Smulowitz and the evening ran on the well oiled machine of Jessie Wolkiewicz’s catering staff of the Boston College Club. Brian and Mikey’s wedding was also the last event of the season of the College Club of Boston which closes for the summer every year. Thw Twig Flower shop made some really amazing boutineers and arraingments while Paula Kirrane of Icing on the Cake provided a divinely beautiful butter-cream frosted wedding cake.
