I love this relaxed photo of David and Hui.

Folding the kerchief: one of the hardest parts of the day.The infamous “hidden bottle of hooch” in the room where David stayed.Infrared shot of Hui arriving at the Martha Mary Chapel.

Fish-eye shot of the inside of the chapel.I was taking cool “man photos” with rough-hewn chairs when Hui decided to join the guys.

I took Hui out into the hall for a couple of relaxed “back-lit” portraits.I took Hui out into the hall for a couple of relaxed “back-lit” portraits.Bright sun means instant drama. The infrared camera gets busted out. :)Hui in her Traditional red wedding dress

Dispite the threat of rain from the weather man all week, the wealther was spectacular for the wedding of Hui & David. They had a really nice intimate wedding at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA. The day started off with photos of Hui getting her makeup done and a few shots of the guys down the hall.

The guys were very careful to insure the proper technique for folding the kerchief for their pockets. The room were David and the guys were getting ready was full of treasures and traditions. In every nook and crannie throughout the room, letters from past guests where left to be read by the current occupent. There were even hidden trap doors and a chest that hid even more letter, a book and even a bottles of liquor that people signed and beckoned whoever found it to make a toast with it to the ghost that is believed to occupy the room. David reported no unexplained “bumps in the night. Maybe the ghost was vacationing on the Cape last week. :)

As with most wedding that take place at the inn made famous by Longfellow’s Tales of a Wayside Inn the ceremony was held at the Marth Mary Chapel which is a short walk (or ride by horse and carriage if you are the bride and groom) from the Inn

After the ceremony and the requisit family portraits, we headed back to the Inn for some relaxed portraits. I grabbed some rough-hewn furnature for some “man photos” with the guys on the lawn in from of the inn. Hui couldn’t resist including herslf in the photos. Then it was time for some infrared photos in the english garden. I was able to get some portraits of Hui in her red dress as well.
