Melissa & Glenn

 On September 9th Tony and I found ourselves up on the shores of Gloucester Harbor for the wedding of Melissa & Glenn at the Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester, MA.  The skies turned from powder blue and puffy clouds to ominous by the time the outdoor ceremony started.  The ceremony was accented by thunder and distant lighting with many a worried glance from the flower girl at the gathering clouds above.  The weather held long enough to make it though a speed-round family photo session before we had to race to the steps of the porch to avoid the inevitable deluge that followed.  Not to be deterred by the weather, Melissa, Glenn and the wedding guests  waited out the rain for a couple of hours while the staff of the EPYC stood at the ready with towels to dry off the dance floor that was set up “under the stars”.  Before anyone knew it, the rain cleared, the band plugged in and the dance floor was throbbing.  Though it was well past dark by this time, Melissa, Glenn and I took a few minutes to get some more photos done including a few on an old bike that a close friend of Glenn’s owned before passing away.  Thanks again to a great couple who rolled with the punched all night.  There was a lot of love at the EPYC that night. Tony and I were lucky to be included.
